Six-packs don’t make you strong

You think you’re strong? Maybe you are. You might have well-defined six-pack abs and be able to complete 100 push-ups without a single break. You also might be able to do endless Yoga poses and run marathons three times a year. But if you don’t know what your transverse abdominus is and how to strengthen it, you might not be as strong as you think.

Watch this quick video and take the test. It looks easy, but it might not be. I’ve been a certified group fitness instructor for 14 years. I’m strong. I failed the test. I am now doing diastasis rehab with The Tummy Team. This is not a sales pitch for them, though. It’s enlightenment for you. So test your transverse. I dare you. And stay tuned for upcoming workouts on our site that specifically target this typically weak area.
