Prime Day Deals on Home Fitness Stuff I actually Use!

Listen, I’m not going to waste your time telling you how I spent way too much of my own time overthinking this post. You’re here. You want to see what deals I recommend as a fitness pro with 30 years of experience, and – hey – how about I also share what I’m personally buying during Amazon Prime Days this year?

by the way, most links in this post are associate/affiliate links that earn me a smidgen of a commission on your purchases at zero extra cost to you 😉

First of all, I have a whole “wishlist of Fit2B gear” that I keep updated on Amazon which you can find here or via the button after this paragraph, and I did NOT edit it for Amazon Prime Days. You can click and see for yourself that only a few things are truly on sale for any decent discount. I think the best deals are on the trampoline and Roku devices… Did you know we have a Roku channel with all our streaming home workout videos on there? Just search your channels for “Fit2B” and it will pull up for you!

Rebound Cardio: Mini Trampoline workout for Diastasis Recti on fit2b.com

The closest thing to the trampoline I currently have is priced less than half of what I paid for it during Amazon Prime Days right now! Sadly the one I have isn’t available anymore, but I did some research, talked to my clients and members, read a lot of reviews, and I’m confident in recommending this mini trampoline.

NOTE: This trampoline you can use for our 5 rebounding workout videos is NOT the one in this image of me. That one fell apart shortly after we filmed our first rebounding workout, so I don’t recommend it. True, I put that thing through its paces myself and with my in-person group fitness classes, but it didn’t last a year. The one I’m linking you to has lasted 3 years so far!

Learn to jump again

Yeah, maybe you’re worried about jumping because your bladder leaks when you bounce, sneeze, cough, yell… But we have helped thousands of women around the world learn how to jump without leaking! Here are 10 of our exercise videos that will get you moving without fear of leaks.

Now, would you like to know what I’m buying during Amazon Prime Days?

Spoiler alert: It’s not all fitness equipment! After all, I do live on a 7-acre farm and have other hobbies and interests. I keep several wishlists going on Amazon, and I watch for deals all the time which always saves me money. I was raised to be frugal, look for second-hand before buying new, and repurpose what I already have on hand. However, some things we need just can’t be found in thrift shops…

…Like these big blueberry bush covers that we’ve been eyeballing for months now, and with them being on sale + the robins lurking and the berries ripening, we got some!

… and this Mediterranean cookbook that’s 1/3 its normal price, and I’ve been keen to learn more of this style of eating since the research evidence shows it’s a very beneficial way for women my age to eat.

Mediterranean meals are really good for aging women's tummies and hormone balance + eating this way has been proven to increase life expectancy!

What is my husband ordering?

Well, my hubby is a mobile mechanic who specializes in both vintage and modern semi trucks and log trucks, and he got this connector kit and this mini flashlight that he uses to see down into tiny places inside of engines.

Back to me, I also got this soft 8-layer cotton muslin comforter I’ve been wishing for as I slowly replace my synthetic bedding. Plastics and polyesters can be major hormone disruptors, and I’m keen to do anything that will protect my hormone balance.

The kids I volunteer with on Saturday nights LOVE sensory things, so I got more of these jelly lego blocks, because they’re always fighting over them. I also got a few of these adorable bible story books to pass out… If you’d like to donate items to the at-risk youth I work with, contact me here!

And the Good Lord knows I’d lose track of my nose if it wasn’t attached so well to my face, and sure enough I’ve lose yet another pair of AirPods recently, so I’m getting this cheaper set of wireless earbuds which I’ve had before (and also lost) and I’m not allowing myself to buy any more expensive sets for a while. Seriously, I don’t go that many places, and I only use them when I walk or while I’m driving… where are they?????

As for fitness gear for myself, I was hoping to find a 50lb Kettlebell, but no dice. All the prices were jacked really high and lowered piddly amounts, and I refuse to pay more than about $1/lb for my weight equipment. So, all I ended up getting was a new 8-yard roll of physical therapy resistance banding to cut apart for the attendees of my private local studio, and I also snatched up a couple more of these tank tops with truly built-in bras which were on sale!

Looking back over my personal purchases, I see some inconsistencies that remind me that all of us – including me – are doing our best. Like, I am replacing my bedding with that organic cotton comforter, but I’m also getting a couple tank tops that will encase my chest in synthetic material. However, I have some sensory issues that calm when I wear that type of tank instead of a full bra, and I have yet to find a cotton or merino wool tank that has built in bras that don’t itch or feel like I can’t move while I’m filming Fit2B workout videos or exercising on my own at home.

We do our best until we can do better, right?

What are you ordering during Amazon Prime Days?

Leave a comment and tell me what home fitness gear you’re looking for during amazon prime days this year. Have you seen any other good deals we all should know about?

Do you wrestle with buying from Amazon at all? My family also buys through Azure Standard, but they don’t carry all the things Amazon does. What are your thoughts?

P.S. I had the honor of presenting a workshop for postpartum women with diastasis recti at The Azure farm a few years back. They are located just a couple hours from me. I got to talk about diastasis aware fitness, check all their tummies for ab gaps, and sit and talk with the founding women! What an amazing experience!
