This course is an awesome basic course. I love the fact that it’s not just easy to understand, but easy to do the actual exercises, but at the same time, it’s a challenge too! Perfect Balance!

OMG So Sore. Like sore in a good way. I couldn’t figure out why I was so sore yesterday but upon waking up more sore and jumping up to do the next day 5×5 challenge , it dawned on me. These exercises are simple and easy but put together in a way that taxes our muscles without leaving us exhausted and needing to slump on the couch all day. They work you in a way that leaves you with energy to chase after that kid that undid the latch again and is sprinting down the street naked and the dog who thought she’d take advantage of the open door. Give it a try. It will surprise you.

When I started this challenge through the member forum, I coerced my husband into doing it with me. He’s very fit and athletic, and I am…not. When I talk about Fit2B he’s always very encouraging me that it is for people like me, but he’s very skeptical that it could benefit him. However, he did the challenge with me AND was shocked at how intense the workout actually is. It was doable for me, someone who isn’t in the greatest shape after my three pregnancies, and it was challenging for him, who runs marathons and plays soccer regularly. I’m going through the challenge again now that it’s been all fancied and beautified. 😉 Totally worth the money! The explanations in the video are much more clear. The workout goes quickly and efficiently and since you are working different muscle groups each time, you can do them every day. Take the challenge!

I am a senior citizen. Fit for 74, but 74. I didn’t do the 5×5 as envisioned by Beth, but I can do all the exercises. I will work up to doing the suggested number of them each day. I do not intend to overdo. Not smart at my age. Then I will add the weights and harder positions. This is truly a workout for everyone.

This is a fun and simple course that I really enjoyed! I finished the first round this week. I loved that it worked every part of the body. You can definitely feel the areas being worked! I started with just going through the 5 twice since I had thrown my back out recently and had no desire to make it worse. Next week I am hoping to be able to go through 5x as suggested. One of the things I really appreciated were the beautiful backgrounds behind Beth as she showed how to do the exercises.

Do you think the 5×5 is a one and done sort of thing where you work your way through it and then you never do it again? No way! There are so many ways to mix and match up these routines. Many of them can be done Tabata style which makes it even more exciting. Want to mix up your 5×5? Instead of counting, set a tabata timer for between 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then do the exercise until the timer goes off. Rest 10 seconds, move on to the next exercise. Don’t go full out crazy or anything, it just keeps you from needing to count! When you can do the exercise for the first time you set, add more time and do them longer. I can do at least 25 of any exercise in 1 minute, so you’d be done in between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on if you need to do opposite sides in a routine. If that doesn’t feel like enough, add more time and do another full minute set!

I am doing this challenge for the second time this year. This time I plan to repeat the challenge next week and try to do the full 2 weeks of it! I’ve noticed some sore muscles and even though I was tired tonight, I still did it, and by the end, I was standing taller, and feeling more proud of myself after a not so great emotional day. I really like the progression over the week- working on different muscle groups, and each day is challenging me differently. I wonder what 4 weeks of doing this challenge would do for my muscles, endurance, and physical strength! 🤔 I might have to try it!

I was looking for something to get me back into a routine after an injury and this was perfect! It was challenging, yet totally doable. The best part is that there are so many ways to change up the individual exercises with weights or harder moves that it doesn’t get old. I also happened to do the special focus group that was available as an option. I would highly recommend this as well when it becomes available because Beth answered all of our questions and then went through the entire workout each day in live videos with great detail!

This 5×5 challenge is what I turn to when I’ve lost my routine and haven’t exercised in a while. It’s very do-able and still a good workout. 5 short workouts in a week can go a long way to re-establish a workout routine.

This challenge has been just what I needed! Each workout is short enough that I can fit it into my day, yet challenging enough to tell I’m getting stronger. It’s very flexible and Beth shows you some modifications for your fitness level. I have finally been able to consistently exercise and get back into a routine.
