As a homeschooling mom – a very NEW homeschooling mom – I need lots of ideas and inspiration. Being a fitness junkie, I’m all about getting my kids outdoors, but that can be a toughie seeing as how we live in a big city in the Pacific NorthWest (a.k.a. where Twilight was filmed because it’s so dark here). So most of my pics come from our second home in Montana. Here’s my little man …
When I saw that Living and Learning was doing this thing where you post pictures of your kids enjoying nature, I knew I had to participate. See the button on the right and click on it to participate! Here’s one of my man taking our kids fishing on the creek that runs through his parents’ property. I love how my hubby is smelling my son’s fuzzy head, and the look on my daughter’s face makes me laugh every time I see it.
This next one of her also makes me smile. She loves animals, and feeding this baby goat had her giggling so hard! This was also taken in Montana at the home of my husband’s cousin who is a cattle rancher.
Hey Beth, your page looks so good, and I'm so proud of all you're accomplishing. As far as getting your kids outside, you could make up a scavenger hunt, that takes them around your neighborhood…there's always bike riding, hiking around at Multnomah Falls, or the best stand by ever…exploring new parks…playing at the same park for a kid gets boring cuz they always see the same toys, but if you go to new parks it's like exploring new territory. You can also do sports, skating, skateboarding, football throwing, softball/baseball/basketball street hockey..ok, maybe getting a little old for your kids..what about just hula hooping? do you remember the skip it? Jump roping…ect Those are things my kids liked doing when they were little. Just an idea.
Another Pacifin Northwest gal! Hi! I'm just popping over from Sherry's. I love your photos. 🙂
Popping over from Sherry's. Great photos especially the one of your girl feeding the goat. Children always seem to love that.
Beautiful photos… and children.
Stopping by from the hop.
She looks so, so happy feeding that goat! 😀
Thanks for linking with Nature Connections; I hope you'll join us again next month.
