Rachel called in for her yearly consult yesterday which is included in her premium Fit2B membership. She quickly informed me that she has children between the ages of 1 and 6 years old, and she's super tired all the time. She did our basic diastasis routines when she had her baby, but she has a lot going on and hasn't felt motivated to do much else for a while. She has one leg shorter than the other, so her hip and lower back often bother her. She also shared that her neck hurts sometimes, too, but if she does our "Walking Routine" it helps the discomfort and headache go away. "That's a lot, and I know we don't have much time, but can you help me?" "Yes!" I told her. "Here's the thing, all of the issues you shared can be approached with movement, and when you approach your workout as a 'help' and 'soother' for your aches and pains and not as a punishment, you'll find motivation." I recommended the following routines for her based on further questions I asked her: -Lower Back Love -Hippy Yoga -Hipster Chair Moves -Pelvic Floor Connections I also directed to her to our "14 Days to A Better Neck" course which is included in her premium membership and which will provide a lot of short videos she can utilize in addition to her original favorite, our Walking Workout.
