Chris is a busy father of four, providing for them by serving as Executive Vice President of Wired Success. Not only is he the brains behind bringing www.fit2b.us into existence, he is also experienced and passionate about fitness and wellness.
He likes to spend his free time training for and running marathons, writing a blog, building new businesses, and taking his kids along for the ride. Most of all he loves being and working with his beautiful wife Alice. Not a day goes by that Chris doesn’t try to better use the gifts, energy and passion that The Creator has given him.
In the last few years Chris has started several new businesses that are in various stages of development, including WebSafeFamily a site dedicated to helping families leverage technology in a safe and secure way.
Chris began to realize his passion for business development and started his ambitious career in the IT industry very early on. In 1997 while still going to school he co-founded Avalon Technology Group, a small solutions-based technology company. In 1999 he helped develop a web-based “thin-client” technology that paved the way for another new business venture, Hyperlinq Technologies.
In 2001, he was hired on at Rentrak as a IT Project Manager in the newly formed Advanced Media Information division. As project manager he was able to serve in a key role the development and launch of Box Office Essentials, Rentrak’s successful theatrical measurement software suite.
In January of 2004 looking for a new challenge Chris moved his family to Tulsa Oklahoma to run the IT department for Cookson Hills Christian Ministries, a faith based non profit K-12 school and children’s home. After working in Oklahoma for almost 2 years, Chris found himself back in Portland Oregon, heading up development for Rentrak’s new OnDemand Essentials project.
Promoted to Director of I.T. in 2007, Chris oversaw the software development of Rentrak’s new data processing, and measurement services for Internet, Mobile, and Linear TV. In 2010 after successful launches of both local station and network TV measurement services Chris was promoted again to VP of I.T.
Chris is also the main camera-man for Fit2B Studio. All that great lighting and sound that we now have is because of his dedication and hard work! So if you like a video, well, Bethany might have led the workout, but Chris brings the workout to you!
